The images are characterized by faded colors which result from the artist’s use of expired Polaroid films as a deliberate aesthetic tool. As seen here, Schneider succeeds in breaking the conventions of classical photography, in order to render her motifs a new aesthetic quality. The works have been executed as lambda prints and therefore reflect the Polaroid style of the artist. Condition: Each photograph is verso fitted with a LUMAS Edition label, reading some indications on the work and an identification number 7518 (8061 and 10090, respectively). The plexiglass front sides are slightly affected by scratch marks. The overall size of one photograph is 10.7 x 8.8 cm and the image measures 8 x 8 cm.
