Scott Schnepf lives in South Berwick, Maine. From 1981 to 2015 he was a professor of art at the University of New Hampshire, where he taught all levels of printmaking, drawing, and painting. He served as chairperson of the department for 6 years and in 2008 he was chosen to receive the Lindberg Award for outstanding teaching and scholarship within the College of Liberal Arts. His work has been exhibited throughout the country and is included in the permanent collections of the Library of Congress, the Currier Art Museum, the Portland Museum of Art, and numerous university, corporate and private collections. He received a BA degree from Augustana College in South Dakota where he studied with Carl Grupp and he received an MFA from Kansas State University where he studied with James Munce.
