      HEINRICH SCHRÖDER (Krefeld 1881 - 1943 Innsbruck) Farmers house woodcut/paper, 21 x 20 cm monogrammed HS ESTIMATE °€ 100 - 200 STARTING PRICE °€ 100 Schröder studied in Berlin, Weimar and Paris from 1899 to 1903 and lived in Vienna from 1905. During this time he was in close contact with the Koller family, where he spent several years as their guest in Oberwaltersdorf. His collaboration with the painter Broncia Koller-Pinell was closest between 1907 and 1911, when he shared a studio with her on the Naschmarkt. In 1907 he was included in the art show, which Klimt directed. In 1911, a joint exhibition with Broncia Koller followed in the Miethke Gallery. Between 1909 and 1914 he traveled to France, Bosnia and Africa. In 1914 he moved to Munich. He spent the last years until his death in Tyrol. PLEASE NOTE: The purchase price consists of the highest bid plus the buyer's premium, sales tax and, if applicable, the fee of artists resale rights. In the case of normal taxation (marked °), a premium of 24% is added to the highest bid. The mandatory sales tax of 13%, for photographs 20%, is added to the sum of the highest bid and the buyer's premium. The buyer's premium amounts to 28% in case of differential taxation. The sales tax is included in the differential taxation.

      Heinrich Schröder, attr., Winter in Ginzing winterliche Straßenansicht im Licht des ausgehenden Tages, hinter einem Zaun mit mondänen Steinpfeilern ein schneebedecktes Haus mit zahlreichen Bäumen, im Hintergrund links weitere angedeutete Häuser, pastose, studienhafte Malerei mit lebhafter Pinselschrift und zum Teil durchscheinendem Malgrund, die, schon mit einigen expressionistischen Merkmalen, wohl eine Orientierungsphase aus dem Frühwerk des Künstlers anzeigt, Öl auf Malkarton, um 1900, rückseitig Etikett der Wiener Kunsthandlung "Willibald Ulbing Wien", darauf betitelt, datiert und etwas schwer leserlich bezeichnet: "Heinrich Schrö[d/t]er Winter in Ginzing 190[?}, Verkaufsannotation könnte zum Lebensweg Schröders passen, rückseitig auch Ausstellungsetikett des Nationalsalons in Budapest mit unleserlichen Annotationen in Blei, Retuschen, geringes Craquelure und kleinere Abplatzungen, Falzmaße ca. 38x 49,5 cm, Künstlerinfo: dt. Maler des Expressionismus und der Neuen Sachlichkeit (1881 Krefeld bis 1942 Innsbruck), Studium in Berlin, Weimar und Paris, 1905 Übersiedlung nach München, dabei enge Freundschaft mit Broncia Koller-Pinell, 1908 auf deren Initiative hin Aufnahme in die Wiener Klimtgruppe, ab 1911 Reisen durch Frankreich, Bosnien und Afrika, 1914 Übersiedlung nach München und Eintritt in die Münchner Secession, Ausstellungen im Münchner Glaspalast, ab 1927 bis 1935 jährliche Kunstausstellungen im Kunstsalon Heller, München, 1929 zweite Afrikareise mit Hauptaufenthaltsort Tunis, 1933 Dürer-Preis für sein Gemälde "Bucht auf Mallorca", 1937 Beschlagnahmung und Vernichtung von insgesamt acht Gemälden im Rahmen der Aktion "Entartete Kunst", die letzten Lebensjahre Aufenthalt in Tirol, neben Keller-Pinel unterlag er in seinen Holzschnitten und Ölbildern vor allem Einflüssen von Egon Schiele und des Fauvismus, ab den Nuller Jahren wieder verschiedene Ausstellungen im Belvedere Wien, u.a. 2008 in "Gustav Klimt und die Kunstschau 1908“.
