      ELOISA SCHWAB Signed Oil on Panel, signature to lower right reads ‘Eloisa Schwab’, verso reads ‘Parade - Eloisa Schwab’, subject party scene with a group of 20 individuals, measures 30 - 24 inches, window measures 23 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches, ornate wooden frame, surface wear to frame, professionally framed, exposed panel to reverse, not examined out of frame. Born in Havana, Cuba, Eloisa Schwab became a painter who preferred oil medium. She studied at the Academy Julian in Paris and the Art Students League in New York with George Bridgman and Kenneth Hayes Miller and exhibited extensively from the mid 1920s to 1960s at venues including the Society of Independent Artists, the Salons of America, and the Pennsylvania Academy.
