Jeannot Schwartz was born in 1956 in Lausanne, Switzerland. From 1979 to 1985 he studied philosophy and art history at the University of Vienna. Jeannot Schwartz now lives in Sistrans in Austria. He works in various media such as painting, sculpture and performance, and had many solo and group exhibitions in galleries and public exhibition spaces.
