However, he was a private student of the etcher and engraver Viktor Jasper in Vienna. In 1909 he was represented for the first time in a Hagenbund exhibition; From 1912 to 1924, he was a member. In 1922, Paul Neff Verlag, Esslingen, published “Die Radierung – Ein Leitfaden und Ratgeber von Professor Alois Leopold Seibold Maler und Radierer in Wien“ (The Etching - A Guidebook by Professor Alois Leopold Seibold Painter and Etcher in Vienna). From 1925 to 1939, he was a member of the Vienna Secession and from 1940 at the Vienna Künstlerhaus. His oeuvre mainly includes landscapes and sacred themes. PLEASE NOTE: The purchase price consists of the highest bid plus the buyer's premium, sales tax and, if applicable, the fee of artists resale rights. In the case of normal taxation (marked °), a premium of 24% is added to the highest bid. The mandatory sales tax of 13%, for photographys 20%, is added to the sum of the highest bid and the buyer's premium. The buyer's premium amounts to 28% in case of differential taxation. The sales tax is included in the differential taxation.
