The work was executed with dynamic brush strokes and shows two houses at the side of a country path. The sky is covered with dark clouds, indicating the forthcoming storm. The painting is in good condition considering its age. There are tiny marks, where the frame has rubbed. The paint surface shows some scattered marks with small material losses. The work is signed and dated lower left ‘E. Sjölin - 45’. The wooden frame is in good condition with only small traces of age and use. The framed overall dimensions are 52 x 57.5 cm.
