Edwin (1912) Smith Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Born in London, Edwin Smith worked as an artist, photographer and writer. During his lifetime he produced a huge volume of oil and watercolour paintings. His works have been exhibited at The House Gallery; Clare College, Cambridge; the Barbican Art Gallery, London; and the Plymouth Art Centre. He has also made two films, one on Rembrandt, the other on the Pre-Raphaelites. Edwin Smith was a very successful photographer and his name appears in 40 volumes published internationally, public collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum hold his work. He was married to the artist and writer Olive Cook; they lived together at the Coach House in Saffron Walden, Essex.
