[3] * Notes. At the age of 18 Flora Stark married Robert Stark. They were a Bohemian couple and the parents of the adventurer and explorer Freya Madeleine Stark [1893-1993], who became Dame. The Starks lived on Dartmoor and later in the mountain town of Asolo 'the pearl of the province of Treviso' in Italy. * Provenance. Maria Stark, related to Flora Stark, and thence by family descent.
