Egon Stolterfoht (1912-1986). Stolterfoht was born in Hamburg in 1912 and died in Berlin (West) in 1986. His work, painting, graphic arts and sculpture mainly addresses abstracted subject matters of the fauna. Further, he also created church windows, in Witten and Alt Tempelhof Berlin for example. A bronze sculpture of an owl is located in Tempelhof, too. Egon Stolterfoht was anchored in the artist cycle around Franz Marc and Otto Dix.
