Antique oil on canvas painting titled on old label on verso "Wistaria" (sic). Painted by well-listed Rhode Island Emma Swan (American, 1853-1927). Signed "E L Swan" lower right. Two thinned spots about 1-1/2" and 3/8" wide, and a single pinhole, none of which can be seen without looking directly through the backside of the canvas at a light. Even craquelure. Elegantly framed in simple gilt wood frame. Measures 37-5/8" x 17-5/8" overall.
