The ship is sailing towards the right in calm seas and fair winds with a point of land visible off the bow and morning light emanating from the horizon. Signed and dated lower left "J.P. Sweetser 1886". SIZE: 24" x 40". Overall 28" x 43-3/4". CONDITION: Canvas has been mounted to an aluminum support and lined. (Retains original stretcher) 49379-10
