          Masami Teraoka. 31 Flavors Invading Japan/Today's Special. (1936-) Masami Teraoka is an American contemporary artist whose works includes Ukiyo-e-influenced woodcut prints and paintings in watercolor and oil. In 1982 he created a woodblock that hit the sweet spot of popular culture, fantasy, humor, and commentary. The 35 colors woodblock was printed in Tokyo on Hosho paper, #208 of 500 and measures 11 x 16 inches, professionally framed and matted in oak 16 x 22". Remarkable is the original print documentation included from Space Gallery, Los Angeles is included when originally sold in 1982. This piece can be found in numerous contemporary museums and truly a phenomenon of the genre. Estimated Value $2,000-UP.
