Quinlan Terry contributed to the introduction for this catalogue. The present linocut was also published as an illustration to articles on the artist in 'Country Life', September 27th and October 4th, 1973. King's Walden was designed by the architect Raymond Erith in 1937 and he lived there until his death in 1973.
