It shows a tree-covered landscape with river and mountains in the background. The small hut with its limekilns is located at the right bank of the river. The canvas was relined. The painting is in good condition with slight signs of age and wear. On the reverse of the stretcher there is an inscription and an adhesive label with information about the artist and the subjet.
