Please note the art was removed from the original wood frame that had the original brass WPA plaque attached: CONNECTICUT. WPA ART PROJECT. Including. Identification Card and information from the WPA Agency on verso of the art. Original brass identification plaque will be included. Condition: good original estate condition, we have saved the original brass plaque that was attached to the frame. Provenance: New Haven, CT Estate.

The frame has a tag that reads "The Gedney Bunce Prize, The Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts, Twenty-Seventh Annual Exhibition, 1937". Housed in the original hand carved watergilt matched corner frame, OS: 45" x 54", SS: 39 1/2" x 45 1/2". Very good condition.
