Stanisław Tomalak was born 1955, Brzeg Dolny, Poland. Since 2011 member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers, recommended by professors of Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw - S. Kortyka and W. Kuczma. He's engaged in artistic activities since 1975. For many years he practiced traditional landscape painting. Then he was close to trend similar to fantastic realism. Since 2000 more often tends toward abstraction. Since then, constantly experimenting using besides traditional also his own unique techniques. His workshop is based on personally produced dyes and texture pastes made of ground minerals and construction materials. He introduces in his works different applications based on collage technique and rich texture.
