        "Il Colloquio Sacerdotale". Radierung mit Aquatinta in Braun. 28 x 21,2 cm. Tresham studierte an der Londoner Akademie bei Joshua Reynolds bevor er für einige Jahre nach Rom ging - deshalb findet sich auch in der Signatur unseres Blattes sein Vorname in "Enrico" verwandelt. Deutlich ist anhand unserer Darstellung erkennbar, dass er wie es bei Nagler heißt "fleissig im Zeichnen nach der Antike" war. Während sich zahlreiche Zeichnungen von Tresham erhalten haben, sind dagegen weniger Stiche von ihm selbst bekannt. - Ganz ausgezeichneter, atmosphärischer Druck mit gleichmäßig breiten Rand. Minimal lichtrandig entlang der äußeren Ränder, ganz leicht vergilbt, schwacher Wasserfleck im weißen Rand oben rechts, unbedeutend gebrauchsspurig im weißen Rand, sonst sehr schönes Exemplar. Beigegeben: Eine weitere, eigenhändige Radierung von Tresham. Sehr selten.
