            A SUITE OF FOUR GEORGE III SILVER CANDLESTICKS AND A PAIR OF CANDELABRA BRANCHES, WILLIAM TUCKER & CO., SHEFFIELD, 1807 with gadroon borders throughout, the sticks with circular bases engraved with a coat of arms rising to a knop below the flared stems and pedestal urn-shaped sconces, the three-light branches with each with a pair of scroll arms and matching sconces. complete with a pair of bud finials and eight detachable nozzles all engraved with a crest loaded, 52cm high Provenance: a Private Continental Collection, acquired Christie's, Geneva, 20 March 1980, lot 139 Descriptions in both printed and on-line catalogue formats do not include condition reports and all lots are sold as viewed.             (A) Cased Uberti "Texas Arms" Tucker Sherrard & Co. Dragoon Percussion Revolver.

            Western Arms Co. distributed this Tucker Sherrard & Co. replica revolver. It was basically a Confederate copy of the Colt Third Model Dragoon finished in blue case colors with one piece walnut grips, square trigger back and brass straps. Left side of barrel is stamped "TUCKER SHERRARD & CO." Blued cylinder has gold leaf engraving, a Texas star on one side with crossed cannons and soldiers on the other. CONDITION: This scarce and large Dragoon is in near new condition inside and out, never fired. Brass does have some age toning. Comes in a beautiful walnut display box with Texas copper flask, two cavity brass bullet mold and brass cap tin. Very short lived production with a very limited number of revolvers made. Accessories : Wooden case with accessories Barrel Length: 7 - 1/2" Caliber/Bore: .44 Percussion FFL Status: Antique Manufacturer: Uberti Model: Dragoon Paperwork : No Serial Number: T394 This Tucker Sherrard is a very limited edition replicating the very few manufacted by Tucker Sherrard & Co in their factory near Dallas during the Civil War.
