Condition Report: Framed: 37.5 x 35cm A small crease mark/ possible tear to the upper right corner. A little fading but presents well overall. Not viewed out of glazed frame.

      Paulus van Liender (1731 - 1797) Dutch School An estuary scene with figures in a boat and a windmill beyond A rare work in oil Oil on panel Signed and dated, '1763' Paulus van Liender began his career as a pupil of his uncle, Jacob van Liender, and later of Cornelis Pronck in Amsterdam. He specialised in very finely executed landscape compositions, mostly of a topographical nature. These are always painted with amazing delicacy and finesse. Many of his works were engraved by himself. Paulus van Liedner also painted some flower compositions but these are quite rare. Dimensions: (Panel) 7 1/2 in. (H) x 11 in. (W)
