Paul Van Rafelghem was a student at the St Luke academy in Ghent, and at the St Luke academy in La Cambre. He exhibits especially in Belgium, and has taken part in the Bruges Triennial Arts Festival. He taught at the fine arts academy in Roulers. He uses diverse techniques and materials, and presents his sculptures in situ.
