Engraved calligraphic title and 11 leaves of calligraphic text engraved by Gerardus Gauw (trimmed closely affecting some letters at top and outer margins). Contemporary Dutch vellum, remnants of silk ties. FIRST EDITION of this work by one of the most important calligraphers of the Netherlands, best known for Spieghel der Schijfkonst. This volume is often found bound with two related tracts published in 1621. Berlin Kat. 5020(1); Hofer, Letters 101.
