    Signed, inscribed in Cyrillic and dated ‘Vaiyalovo / 10.viii.1936/V Voinov’ (lower right), ownership stamp of Igor Dichenko collection (on the reverse) Ink and watercolour on paper 30 x 41 cm executed in 1936 Provenance: Collection of Igor Dichenko (Ihor Dychenko) (1946-2015), Soviet and Ukrainian collector, art historian, and painter; one of the ideologists of the Ukrainian avant-garde, Kyiv. Private collection, Europe Art historian, art critic, graphic artist, museum worker, painter, theatrical designer. In the early 1900s, Voinov studied at the Drawing School of the Imperial Society for the Encouragement of the Arts and took painting lessons from V. I. Denisov in the 1910s. Since 1906, he also worked as a theatrical decorator. He was a member of several art associations, including Sixteen, Mir Iskusstva, etc.
