KUNO VOLLET (Germany, 1951). "Orbit 1". Patinated bronze. Single Edition. Attached certificate of authenticity issued by the artist. It has slight patina damage.

    Est: €4,300 - €4,600

KUNO VOLLET (Germany, 1951). "Orbit 1". Patinated bronze. Unique edition. Enclosed certificate of authenticity issued by the artist. Slight damage to the patina. Measurements: 59,5 x 60 cm; 30 x 15 x 3,5 cm (base). Several concentric circles define this piece, with a single origin and a single end, the author plays with the bronze creating an image that seems to be a random stroke. However, this spontaneity is relegated to the background when one appreciates the contrast between volume and space, or the iconography of the artist, who often uses the figure of the circle in his works. Kuno Vollet began his artistic training at the Kunsthochschule Kassel, where he was a pupil of the outstanding master of glass glazing, Professor Werner Gnegel. He exerted a great influence on Vollet, which is reflected in his artistic work today, particularly in his Creatio series, where the process of glazing glass creates delicate, crystal-like forms in the inner section of the disc. Circles are a recurring theme in Kuno's work. These are linked to ancient Greek and Indian philosophy where the circle refers to life: the Circle of Life. By extrapolation, Kuno's work also refers to atomic physics where the electron dances around the nucleus and the cell that is at the centre of organic life. This scientific aspect of the philosophical reference to circularity in Kuno's work manifests itself in the manufacturing process of crystal glazing. His exhibition career began in 2011, and since then he has participated in numerous exhibitions and fairs both collectively and individually. For example, she has participated in: Art fair Art Innsbruck, Austria; Art Karlsruhe, Gallery Luzia Sassen; Art Museum Erlangen, Art Essenz art fair, Berlin Sony Center, Affordable Art Fair Brussels, Gallery Folly & Muse, Art fair Arte, Wiesbaden, Art fair Art Muc, Munich Praterinsel, Exhibition Blind Embossing, Mainzer Galerie, Art fair ARTe, Stuttgart/Sindelfingen, Art fair Art Bodensee, Gallery Willmsen, Art Nocturne Knokke, Gallery Mercedes Roldan,,Art fair ARTe, Wiesbaden, ART MUC, Prater Island, Munich, AAF London, Gallery Folly & Muse and Amsterdam, Gallery Luzia Sassen, Netherlands, among many others.

  • KUNO VOLLET (Germany, 1951). "Continuous Creatio 42". Ceramic, gold leaf and glaze. Marble base. Attached certificate of authenticity issued by the artist.
    Apr. 05, 2022

KUNO VOLLET (Germany, 1951). "Continuous Creatio 42". Ceramic, gold leaf and glaze. Marble base. Attached certificate of authenticity issued by the artist.

    Est: €2,500 - €2,800

KUNO VOLLET (Germany, 1951). "Creatio continua 42". Ceramic, gold leaf and glaze. Marble base. Certificate of authenticity issued by the artist enclosed. Measurements: 48.5 x 47 cm; 12 x 29 x 2.5 cm (base). Glass is one of the most recurrent materials in the work of the artist Kuno Vollet. In this piece, where the undisputed protagonist is the treatment of the glaze, he also introduces another of his most explored elements: the circle. A geometric figure in which the artist finds the origin of life and which in this case, in the form of an eye, presents a circle that collects the external light, through the material, and which seems to project itself as a gaze towards the spectator.
