    CHARLES GRIGNION (ENGLISH, 1721-1810) ENGRAVED FRONTISPIECE After Samuel Wale (English, 1721-1786)for the London Magazine, 1760, depicting a funerary procession of George II (who had died the 25th of October, 1760), with Britannia mourning over his urn, Justice and Religion consoling her, and Mercury in the foreground, an angel holding a crown watching from clouds above. Marked for Grignion lower right and Wale lower left, also notated to verso Charles Grignion. Housed within plexiglass framing.
