      A Pair of Beeswax Maquettes of Oval Medallion/Plaques bearing profile busts of St. Paul, left and right views, with hands in different attitudes, 5" x 4", in 7 1/2" x 5" x 2" shadow boxes. The bronzes were dated 1630. Includes letter in French dated 27 Octobre 1971 to Mr. John David Farmer, Curator of the Busch-Reisinger Museum at Harvard University from Edouard de Callatay of Bruxelles, detailing the history of these medallions.

(Ludwig XIV, bei Gottes Gnaden, König von Frankreich und Navarra); verso (am Rand) „NVLLA DIES SVB ME NATOQVE HAEC FOEDERA RVMPET“ (An keinem Tag unter mir und meinem Sohn wir diese Allianz gebrochen; (unten) „FOEDERE HELVETICO INSTAVRATO MDCLXIII“ (Erneuerung der Schweizer Allianz 1663).
