Israel Weinberger was born in Poland in 1911. In 1932 he immigrated to Eretz Israel and settled in Haifa. During the years of the establishment of the State, He was above a tanning factory in Kfar Hasidim and later worked for Solel Boneh. In the 50s of the 20th century he began to work in art. From 1960 to 1961 he visited the United States and from 1965 to 1964 he was in Gibraltar for business. Most of his work was in the medium of painting. His work included traditional subjects such as landscapes, still life, and more. He was a member of the Association of Painters and Sculptors and was one of the founders of the Free Organization of Painters and Sculptors and served as its chairman.
