    WILLY MÜLLER-HUFSCHMID 1890 - Karlsruhe - 1966 Rechtecke in Grau, Schwarz, Weiß - nach Baumeister. Tempera auf Karton um 1960/65. Verso mit dem Nachlaßstempel mit der handschriftlichen -nummer „332“ sowie bezeichnet „1962“ und mit Richtungspfeil. Verso auf dem Spannrahmen auf Klebeetikett typographisch betitelt, datiert und bezeichnet „Sammlung Rolf Deyhle/.../1732“. 84 x 66 cm. Mit kleinen Druckspuren im Bildträger im Bereich der Ränder. Müller-Hufschmid studierte als Meisterschüler von H. Goebel an der Karlsruher Akademie. Danach wandte er sich zuerst der Neuen Sachlichkeit, dann der expressiven Malerei zu. Nachdem er 1944 durch einen Bombenangriff einen großen Teil seines Werkes verloren hatte, fand er Zugang zur abstrakten Malerei. Von 1951-1966 nahm er an den großen Jahresausstellungen des Deutschen Künstlerbundes teil. „1962/63 ist ein neuer Höhepunkt erreicht. Mit den sparsamstem Mitteln baut Müller-Hufschmid seine Bilder auf. Dunkelblau, Grau, Braun und Schwarz herrschen vor. Kleine leuchtende Quadrate erscheinen in traumhafter Stille... Die Temperafarbe - als nicht glänzend und mit Bedacht gewählt - ist schwingend, transparent aufgetragen und die Kanten geometrischer Figuren sind immer frei, nie mit einem Lineal gezogen...“ (J.
