(M) English Made InterArms Whitworth Express Rifle with Scope

These well made and finished dangerous game rifles were made between 1974 and 1993. This rifle has 24" barrel with one standing, two folding leaf express rear sight in island base. Mark "X" action by "CZ" is marked "MANCHESTER ENGLAND" on side wall, and is British proofed. Bottom metal has hinged floorplate retained by latch with button in trigger guard bow. Stock of relatively plain European walnut is classically styled with right hand shadow line cheekpiece, steel grip cap, ebony forend tip, and nicely cut point pattern checkering at grip and forend. Rifle is fitted with red Decelerator pad. Rifle is also fitted with Leupold Vari- XII 1 - 4 X scope with duplex reticle in QD rings. CONDITION: Excellent. Metal parts retain nearly all their original blue. Stock with custom finish and enhanced checkering is also excellent, with only a few subsequent handling marks. Bore is excellent.
