    Otto Wiedemann, Stillleben mit Keramik auf einer Kommode ein Arrangement mit Vasen, Schälchen und einer muschelförmigen Schale, dazwischen ein kleiner Handspiegel, in sich ruhende Komposition in gedeckter Farbigkeit, Öl auf Leinwand, um 1900, rechts unten signiert "Otto Wiedemann", rückseitig auf dem Keilrahmen wohl von Künstlerhand unleserliche Annotationen, dazu Fragment eines Bildtitels "Antike [...]", ebenda Reste eines Etiketts früherer Ausstellung, leichtes Craquelure und Frühschwund, Retuschen und reinigungsbedürftig, gerahmt, Falzmaße ca. 40,5 x 55 cm. Künstlerinfo: dt. Maler und Silhouettenschneider (1869 Greifswald bis 1957 ?), 1893–99 Studium an den Akademien Berlin und München bei Paul Meyerheim bzw. Heinrich von Zügel, tätig in Berlin, Quelle: Thieme-Becker, Saur und Dreßler. Otto Wiedemann, Still Life with Ceramics An arrangement with vases, small bowls and a shell-shaped bowl on a chest of drawers, between them a small hand mirror, a composition in muted colours, oil on canvas, c. 1900, signed "Otto Wiedemann" lower right, illegible annotations on the reverse of the stretcher probably by the artist, with a fragment of a title "Antike [....]", remains of a label from an earlier exhibition, slight craquelure and early loss, retouching and in need of cleaning, framed, folded dimensions approx. 40.5 x 55 cm. Artist information: German painter and silhouette cutter (1869 Greifswald - 1957 ?), 1893-99 studied at the Berlin and Munich academies under Paul Meyerheim and Heinrich von Zügel respectively, active in Berlin, source: Thieme-Becker, Saur and Dreßler.
