Joanna Wierusz-Kowalska (1930, Vilnius - 2005, Paris). Polish painter, art conservator, daughter of Czeslaw Wierusz-Kowalski and granddaughter of Alfred Wierusz-Kowalski. She studied art conservation and art at the Warsaw Fine Arts Academy.

In 1962 she moved to France, where she was closely linked with Polish emigration circles and Parisian artistic circles (i. e. she was friends André Breton, Salvador Dali, Fernand Léger and Kazimierz Brandys). As a painter she is best-known for her abstract paintings. Her artworks are part of collections of Warsaw National Museum, Wroclaw National Museum, Regional Museum of Suwalki and many other public and private collections.
