"Digitalis purpurea" (Foxglove). Circa 1922/23. Vintage warm-toned gelatin silver print. 23 x 15,5 cm. Photographer's Renger-Patzsch, D.W.B., Fotografie, Bad-Harzburg stamp, reproduction limitation stamp as well as annotated Fingerhut in pencil on the verso. The following four lots with photographs by Albert Renger-Patzsch, as well as the photographs by Hildegard Heise (lots 4224 - 4227) are from the estate of the Lübeck collector and lawyer Dr. Fritz von Borries (1892 - 1975), who was acquainted with Renger-Patzsch through Hildegard and Prof. Dr. Carl Georg Heise. - A few minimal retouched spots, minimal oxidation mirroring in edges, otherwise a rich tonal print in near excellent condition. "Impatiens glandulifera"; "Nicotiana rustica". 1900-1910/printed 1975/76. Gelatin silver print from the original negative. 25 x 17,7 cm (30,3 x 21,5 cm). Each titled, edtioned 6/50 and 9/50 , dated and signed by Jürgen Wilde in pencil, as well as with Galerie Wilde Köln copyright stamp on the verso. A few retouched spots, both with minimal handling crease in upper left, first print also with a few handling crease marks in margins, corners slightly bumped, otherwise in very good condition.
