      DER FEIERNDE JUNGE BACCHUS Öl auf Leinwand. Doubliert. 63 x 84 cm. Rechts unten auf Weinfass signiert und datiert „AB.Willaerts.1647“. Im Mittelpunkt des Gemäldes steht der jugendliche Weingott Bacchus, der nur mit einem gelben Tuch um seine Schultern und den Schambereich auf einem Felsbrocken sitzt. Er hält in seiner linken Hand eine große Weinrebe, die nach unten tropft, und in seiner rechten Hand eine mit Wein gefüllte Schale, deren Weinfüllung er gerade verschüttet. Auf dem Kopf trägt er einen mit Weinlaub geschmückten Kranz. Er ist bereits betrunken, was auch an den vom Wein erhitzten roten Wangen und seinen halb geschlossenen Augen sichtbar wird, aus denen er trübe auf den Betrachter aus dem Bild schaut. Hinter ihm die grünen Zweige eines großen Baumes, an dem eine Girlande mit Früchten und Weinreben hängt. Mehrere Putti sind gerade dabei, Früchte und Weinreben zu pflücken, während zwei auf einer großen Wolke den fröhlichen Zechern am Boden zuschauen. In der Gesellschaft des Gottes sind links weitere Bacchanten zu sehen, einer davon ein gefülltes Weinglas in die Höhe haltend, zudem ein weißer Ziegenbock und eine Panflöte spielender Begleiter. Rechts von Bacchus ein großes am Boden liegendes Holzfass, dahinter ein Satyr, der mit ausgebreiteten Armen von einer silbernen Kanne in einem hohen Bogen eine glänzend silberne Schale mit Wein befüllt. Fröhliche Darstellung in frischen Farben, bei der Bacchus nicht als älterer trunkener Mann, sondern als jugendlicher Weingott dargestellt wird, mit den typischen Attributen, Pan, Ziegenbock, Satyr und weinbekränztem Haupt.
