She utilized the ad hoc nature of disposable cameras and visited sites of public recreation such as shopping centers, car shows or strip clubs, where she captured blurred moments of the happenings. Her pictures therefore channel the energies of popular culture, but mysteriously hidden behind the veil of abstraction. The present work 'Pretty in Pink' was taken in 1996 and impressively demonstrates her artistic approach. The work is verso fitted with two typographic, partly inscribed labels by Sarah Cottier Gallery. The color photograph is covered with a foil and has been laminated on an aluminum board. The edges of the work are slightly affected by traces of dirt. The surface of the work is slightly rubbed. The sheet-sized image measures 50 x 70 cm.
