D. Harding" at lower left and "J. T. Willmore" at lower right. Date: 19th century Description: In the clearing illuminated by the moonlight, two figures are amidst the remains of a war battlefield. The figure on the left, dressed in Arabic clothing, holds a sword in his hand and is about to strike. Next to it sits an ethereal-looking female figure. It seems as if a glow emanates from her.
