        Robert Willson (American, 1912-2000) Group of Artist Molds NYMPHS - An important figure in the American Studio Glass Movement, Willson studied at the Corning Museum of Glass and in Murano, Italy. From 1952-1977. Willson taught at the University of Miami. These molds were produced during the years he lived and taught in Miami. This group of ten plaster molds comprises the artist's stylized female nude "Nymph Figures". Collection as follows: a large plaster mold (16 1/8" x 14") with smaller negative mold (9 1/2" x 9 1/2"); two nudes on horse (one is curved, approx 9 1/2" w); 2 nudes on lion (9" w); and 4 nude figures. Each piece is signed with "W" monogram, plaque is signed Robert Willson. Condition: Due to the delicate nature of plaster, there are a few losses to edges on these molds, chips, rubs, etc.

        Robert Willson (American, 1912-2000) Group of Artist Molds - An important figure in the American Studio Glass Movement, Willson studied at the Corning Museum of Glass and in Murano, Italy. The group comprises ten molds of plaster, terracotta, and cement as follows: a large square "Bird Group" plaster mold (16 1/2" x 14 1/2"); "Abstract Nude Woman" terracotta mold (8 7/8" h); a concrete and terracotta mold of a flower (5 3/8" x 4 1/2"); a plaster and concrete mold of "Birds" (8 1/4" x 6 1/2"), A "Bird Figure" plaster mold and terracotta mold (with glass residue, broken); a plaster "Abstract Square" mold; and a plaster mold of a "Lion" (9 1/4" L). Each piece is signed with "W" monogram, plaque is signed Robert Willson. Condition: Due to the delicate nature of plaster, there are a few losses to edges on these molds, chips, rubs, etc. Terracotta bird is broken in half.
