Mrs. Town was born in Michigan in 1838, educated as a teacher, and was first principal of the female department in Detroit. She relocated to live with her mother in Canal Winchester shortly before her death in 1873. This portrait was done posthumously. Canvas in an oval reserve, 27"h. 22"w., in a heavy gold frame, 39"h. 33.5"w.

He became a prominent citizen and a successful businessman of Canal Winchester. Canvas in an oval reserve, 27"h. 22"w. in a heavy gold leaf frame, 36"h. 31"w. Includes "Williams History of Franklin and Pickaway Counties", and a biographical sketch of Mr. Bartlet.
