      Unframed oil on masonite illustrative scene shows a cowboy having just shot another cowboy on horseback. The horse rears out of fright and the man clutches his chest as his gun falls from his hand. Signed lower right and dated "41". The back stamped "Property of Argosy All Rights Reserved". Possibly the work of Cleveland Landon Woodward (1900-1986). SIZE: 28" x 26-1/4". PROVENANCE: From a Connecticut Collection. CONDITION: Some spot touch up, very good. 9-22269
