      KARL WÜRBS 1807 - Prag - 1876 Glashütte in Böhmen. Oel auf Leinwand. In der linken unteren Ecke signiert (kaum sichtbar). 52,5 x 72 cm. Mit leichten Retuschen. zwei kurzen hinterlegten Einrissen und leichten Krakelüren. Würbs studierte an der Prager Akademie bei J. Bergler und F. Ch. Waldherr. Weitere Studien betrieb er später u.a. im Atelier Karl Funks. Er „malte Landschaften u. Architekturbilder, Stadtansichten von Prag, aus Böhmen, Mähren u. Deutschland, genau, aber trocken wiedergegeben, doch von bedeut. topograph. Wert.“ (AOW/AKL online). Gerahmt. [ms]
