As a small girl on the by Professor Taubinger her sisters ertheilten lessons in drawing part, where already their keen sense of observation, it manifested downright phenomenal Formenged?chtni?. Nevertheless, their talent was not encouraged, although they are, with the pen in hand, all the impressions and perceptions held; until 1880 it took place in the preparatory school of the Austrian Museum Admission to Professor Minnigerode, Hrachowaner and in Rieser's studio, where she, with the mother to after two years of study, their tender for Constitution | pulled Abbazzia, always drawing and painting himself promotional, until the longed thorough training received to Venice on siedelnd, after many Umst?ndlichkeiten at the Academy and finally at Eugen v. Blaas. There they painted their own likeness, which bears the signature of this school in managed ways. But then she reasoned, only in Venice and then in Merano, its independent studio, from which a series of ever new compositions emerged that taken from the children's lives, by their roguish humor and the freshest immediacy gained its name a large number of friends and admirers, which are not of the inexorably increasing disease the painter had the slightest idea. Now, in drawing and coloristic effect highly completed by wrought images appeared: "On the watch" where a Facchino-explanatory angeschl?ngeltes lad a small, verspeisende from large D?te cherries Donna overhears with glowing little eyes; the jubilant mirth of the "swing", an invitation from a childlike Marinaro for "abduction of Helena," the lamentable trio with the "troubled friendship", the new "apple of Paris", the siege conscious and timid "Card Players", "Ant and Grille "the first" dance "of computing on the slate, the" seriousness of life "sentient Archimed and" Rough Start "titled boys Trickschool; Also the "Audifax and Hadumoth" -Scene from Scheffel's "Ekkehard", then last but not least "The mystery" which the highlight was formed at the Munich Art Exhibition in 1894 and by the artist still five times, always in varying format and with new psychological twist , had to be copied - a topic that reproduced in photography, woodcut, engraving, color printing, even as plastic group in plaster, porcelain and metal castings, still catchy proved by sympathetic interest and as a joyous star outshone her sinking life reconciling. Given a lot smaller, selbstredende character heads and figures, then in addition to its posthumous studies in two major series in postcard form by Ackermann's light pressure Reproduction in hundreds of thousands of copies were in the world. Such successes beautified the early evening of her only to short life. Their main works were respectively by the "Illustrierte Zeitung", "On land and sea", in "Gazebo" and "home" in Velhagen & Klasing's "Monatshefte" u. S. W. known in xylography and color print and popular - all healthy creations without sweetness and sentimentality, the real, true Volksliederton, loyal and genuine our children's lives in pleasure and jest and earnest abspiegelnd, real home cooking without Zuckertand or unhealthy Zuthat. literature.
