The picture was shot in the context of Project Hope from Xie Hailong. This project was an initiative, started in 1990, with the purpose of encouraging Chinese families to stimulate and prioritize the education of their children. It is said, that the photograph has been seen from almost 1 billion Chinese. Su Mung became popular as Big Eyes and her photo turned to be the symbol of the educational system. Condition: The photograph is in very good condition with minimal traces of use. The picture’s dimensions are 50,7 x 35 cm; the sheet measures 60,5 x 50,5 cm. It’s mounted in a mat and framed.
