      Xie Jin 1369-1415 Poems in Cursive Script ink on paper, handscroll signed, dated 1412 Titleslip by Pan Zuyao and with 1 seal Frontispiece by Xiong Changmeng, dated 1882 and with 3 seals of his Colophons by Jiang Yingke (1553-1605), Ren Yinglie (1553-1605) and Wang Shou (1492-1550), each with 1 seal of them. with 11 collectors' seals frontipiece: 30.3 x 137.2 cm. 12 x 54 in. calligraphy: 30.5 x 249.3 cm. 12 x 98 in.  colophon: 30.3 x 53.4 cm. 12 x 21 in. ---------------------------------------------- 解縉 1369-1415 草書曹唐詩兩首 水墨紙本 手卷 署簽:〈潘祖堯〉解文毅公墨跡。鈐印:「小聽颿樓藏」 引首:〈熊昌夢〉解文毅公墨迹。光緒壬午(1882)桂月上澣,後學熊昌夢敬書。鈐印:「熊昌夢印」、「磻隱」、「□間天上惟□情□」 釋文:木魚金鑰鎖重城,夜上紅樓縱酒情。竹箭水繁更漏促,桐花風□管弦清。百分散打銀船溢,十指寬催玉筯輕。星斗漸稀賓客散,碧雲猶戀豔歌聲。 寂寥深水閉煙霞,洞裏相知有幾家。笑看潭魚吹水沫,醉嗔溪鹿吃蕉花。穿厨歷歷泉聲細,繞屋悠悠樹影斜。夜靜着灰封釜竈,自添文武養丹砂。 永樂壬辰(1412)夏六月,避暑虎谿精舍,曉起涼風噓人,十指閒適,偶撿唐人詩二首,漫書一過,不足觀也。縉紳。 題跋: 〈江盈科〉解學士書得張長史草灋三昧,其縱宕用筆處,如鵝飲水。評者又謂其書如春蛇入草、暮鷹歸蘆,則庶幾似矣。展卷三復,欣佩何似。江盈科。鈐印:「盈科之章」 〈任應烈〉張旭三杯草聖,飲中之未易多得者,翻閱解學士筆數四,而知揮毫落紙,興致淋漓,豈遜旭之雪煙一籌耶!任應烈。鈐印:「文章天下士」 〈王守〉解學士書法既超神入聖,但世不多閣,為士林所推重。此卷向為耐軒王先生秘笈之物,近又入於翼明莫君處。暇日往過展閱,援筆書此。涵峰子王守識。鈐印:「涵峰山人」 藏印:「墨林生」、「項元汴印」、「東沙居士」、「真賞齋印」、「游目騁懷」、「柳橋書屋珍藏」、「華夏私印」、「原博」、「水邨陸氏鑒賞書畫之章」、「昌世私印」、「項墨林鑑賞章 引首: 30.3 x 137.2 cm. 12 x 54 in. 書法: 30.5 x 249.3 cm. 12 x 98 in. 題跋: 30.3 x 53.4 cm. 12 x 21 in.

The Chens arrived in London in the late 1960s to set up as successful restaurateurs and were passionate collectors of Chinese art, mainly acquiring pieces within London since that date. They moved in circles of artists and connoisseurs and counted among their close friends the artists Fei Chengwu (1911 – 2000) and Zhang Qianying (1909 – 2003).
