Sasha was born in 1964 in the city called Gorky in mid-Russia. Gorky is one of the largestindustrial centers of Russia. Sasha’s entire family (father, mother, siblings, aunts and uncles)worked in the largest Russian car manufacturing plant. Sasha was also destined to work atthe same plant, but from early childhood he was drawing and painting, painting and drawing.His family envisioned a car designer’s future for him, but he was interested in still lifes andlandscapes much more than in industrial design.In 1980 Sasha was accepted in the Gorky Art College and in 1984 graduated with honors. After college he served in the army, then worked as an art teacher. In 1990, after rigorousexams, Sasha was accepted into the best art academy of Eastern Europe, the St Petersburg Art Academy named after Ilia Repin.From the beginning of 1992 he was a permanent participant in all student exhibitions of youngSt. Petersburg’s artists, and immediately after graduation in 1995 he was accepted into aprestigious Artists Union of Russia. In 1995 he began taking part in Spring and Fallexhibitions of the Artists Union, and he participated in the annual exhibition of landscapeartists of St Petersburg.In addition to those annual and bi-annual exhibitions, he took part in:1996 – exhibition “Three views” in St Petersburg1997 – exhibition in art museum of the city of Murmansk1998-2000 – annual exhibitions of landscape artists in Lyon, France2002 – exhibition in the city hall of Belinson, Switzerland.2000-2002 – annual exhibitions and auctions in Sweden and Germany2202- 2013 – numerous exhibitions and on-man showsHis works are now in private collections in Russia, France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerlandand the United States.
