    Bernard Zalon (American, b. 1951), "Mediacrity," color lithograph on paper, editioned in pencil lower left 14/150, titled lower center and signed lower right, with artists stamp on verso, measures 10 5/8 x 15.50 inches to the edge of the image, overall in the frame it measures 18 x 24 inches. CONDITION: Good, strong coloring. Born in Brooklyn, NY, in 1951 and studied printmaking at the Brooklyn Museum Art School in 1974 and etching at the Art Students League in 1981. Additionally, Zalon studied etching at the Institut Des Arts D’Ixelles, Brussels, Belgium, 1984-5, and has taught at New York's Art Students League. "Mediacrity" is one of his best-known images.
