He studied at the National Center for the Arts in San Juan, and he also worked at New York's Printmaking Workshop in the early 1980's, and in Mexico with Leo Acosta. He exhibited as early as the late 1970s in group shows and has exhibited regularly throughout the 90's and currently at the Galeria Botello, in San Juan.
