張崟　溪堂琴會設色紙本　立軸　一八一八年作李無咎署簽簽書：張夕菴山水精品。乙丑冬十月虞山李無咎書簽。款識：盛子昭溪堂琴會圖。戊寅六月倣於澄華室，奉翼亭大兄先生雅政，夕菴張崟。鈐印：「張崟之印」、「夕菴」。註：京江畫派領袖張崟，出身殷實，父為紳商，叔父篤學，皆慕風雅，與當地名士頗有交集，家族藏法書名畫之富，幾甲於京口。張崟自幼聰慧，日夕熏染名跡，學畫取法自高，不隨流俗，他避婁東而近吳門，尤傾心文徵明、沈周，繼而秉承宋元法度，自成氣象。本幅寫於一八一八年，屬晚期精心之作。此際他已因賑濟洪災，盡散家資，居於城東陋室，遠離塵囂，山中晤談聽泉，靜待童子奉琴，乃其内心隱逸思想的投射。畫中山川，具江南溫潤秀麗的風致，許是他朝夕相對的景色，故寫來如身在其境，山巒重迭，宛如屏障，環抱蒼翠。樹林葱鬱成蔭，尤具個人特色，不尚奇姿，茁壯挺拔，華冠如蓋，濃密而不亂，色彩淡雅和諧，富裝飾性，又不失生動氣韻。雖題仿盛懋〈溪堂琴會圖〉，在其晚年本王蒙的〈南邨圖〉中，亦有此叢樹掩映、小橋流水景致，所謂「何須粉本求摩詰，飽看天然好圖畫」，惟寫心中桃源矣。 140 x 72.3 cm 55 x 28½ in. ---------------------------------------------- Zhang Yin 1761-1829 Elegant Gathering by the Creek ink and colour on paper, hanging scroll signed, dated 1818, with a dedication and 2 seals of the artist.
