Biography

Animation Art Emporium has been collecting original animation art for over 25 years. This hand drawn, hand-painted art is especially appreciated and valued because newer cartoons no longer use this special art form of production. Newer cartoons switched to computer production. We carry original production artwork that was used by a variety studios in making their cartoons including Disney, Nickelodeon, Chuck Jones, UPA, Columbia, Terrytoons, and more. Some of our pieces date back 80 years. We also have one of the largest collections of SpongeBob SquarePants artwork from the 1999 first season which was the only season that the SpongeBob cartoon was hand drawn and hand painted. Animation Art Emporium is located in Denver, Colorado and we offer our artwork for sale online. We welcome first time purchasers and seasoned collectors and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
