Founded in 2002, we are a small, personalised operation very much focused on the client. Our gallery-style expansive rooms in the Inner-West of Sydney are ideal for showcasing our specialist Australian & International Art sales, which we hold at least three times each year.
In addition to our art focus, we hold regular Estate and Collector auctions, which offer not only pictures and sculpture, but also silver and jewellery, along with selected special examples of the decorative arts including Asian antiques, objet d’art and tribal arts.
We are agile enough to accommodate all manner of specialist collections and estates, and keep a weekend aside every year for special sales.
We believe in transparency of operation, extensive promotion, and faultless presentation. We are also approachable and friendly, and look on each consignment as a new challenge to maintain our track record of client satisfaction. As a result, we are very well regarded within the industry.

Services & Staff

We employ modern online bidding facilities within a traditional auction format. Interested bidders are encouraged to participate in person in our rooms, by phone or absentee bid, or by live bidding online through Invaluable.com, where we are categorised as platinum members.
A searchable current catalogue and Calendar are available online, and interested buyers may subscribe for updates.

We invite you to contact us for an appraisal of any items you are considering selling. There is no fee or obligation involved. Our commissions are low compared to our competitors, as all administration, handling, and photography (by our in-house professional) costs are absorbed as part of our seller’s commission, and not charged separately to the client. As long-term members of the Auctioneers and Valuers Association of Australia, client moneys are held in a separate vendors account subject to annual audit. As such, you can sell with Davidson Auctions with confidence.
