Eldred's has had an excellent reputation as an auction gallery in New England for more than 60 years. The gallery specializes in fine and decorative arts. Eldred's hosted 29 live online auctions as a platinum house on Invaluable.com in 2014, and typically offers more than 25 auctions each year.

Notable Eldred's sales include a 2010 record setting price of $109,250 for Charles H. Gifford's Indians at Gay, and another auction record of $207,000 for Ralph Cahoon's A Shocking Incident at the Boston Public Garden. Other important sales made by Eldred's include a rare 1957 Gibson electric guitar sold for $220,000, one of the highest prices ever paid for a guitar not previously owned by a celebrity.
