Biography

Holt’s Auctioneers are Europe’s leading auction house for fine modern and antique firearms. Located on the Sandringham Estate in England Holt’s have been in the auctioneering business since 1993. They offer four live auctions a year (March, June, September and December) each comprising an average of 800 lots. Absentee bidding in advance of each live auction is available, free of service charge, by accessing the fully illustrated online version of the catalogue at www.holtsauctioneers.com. A professional printed catalogue is produced for each of these auctions for which an annual subscription is available by ordering on their website.

Each live auction is supported by a silent (sealed bid) auction which runs for two weeks where items of a lesser value are offered. Each silent auction comprises an average of 2000 lots and bids can be made, free of service charge, by accessing the fully illustrated online version of the catalogue on their website.

Holt’s also hold regular smaller online only auctions, usually with a particular theme, which run for one month. Each lot is illustrated in the online catalogue.
